Welcome to ViralOne

Welcome to ViralOne.

ViralOne is a new web 2.0 think tank. Our goal is to utilize web 2.0 technologies and use them in new ways. In this platform, we plan to discuss and elaborate on some very interesting topics to us and others, from viral marketing, semantic web and transhumanism.

But most of all, we want to foster discussions and exchanges to elaborate and modify the precepts that govern think tanks. We are trying to make this a place were individuals who pursue similar goals coalesce to produce new ideas in viral marketing, semantic web and other research ideas.

Think Tank

From Think Tank, defined.

A new type of think tank is evolving which is based solely on Internet ad hoc social networks. These new types of networks allow people a chance to try out their concepts for discussion without committing to large amounts of time. For some this new think tank format works well and many beginners enjoy such stimulus. Some of these more informal think tanks are privately run. Many of these forums are for anyone to participate, some for practice and accumulation of knowledge and others for entertainment value.

Viral online marketing, emarketing, word of mouth marketing, semantic web

We specialize in online marketing, as well as researching the up and coming technologies of semantic web, semantic blogs and more. This process is made possible by the blogosphere. Viral online marketing is the next trend in viral marketing. The use of bloggers, blogs, video blogs, moblogs, targeted email marketing, RSS marketing, podcasts and memediggers is becoming more widespread. And this is happening no longer only by small companies, but very large ones, such as Dr Pepper are using these techniques to market themselves.

Digg clones are appearing everywhere and bloggers are wondering what the impact will be to the blogosphere.

Blogo… what?

If you do not know about this and have no experts at hand, you need to get in contact with us. We are strategic web 2.0 consultants. We are planning on first defining with the aid of Wikipedia most of the ideas and words that bloggers take for granted. And then, like any program design, we plan to build upon it. With articles from contributors. But first, see here.

You can reach us by email for article submissions, discussions and comments.
